Mr. Grady Ferrell III, of Tampa, FL, passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2025. At the request of the family, services will be private.

Grady III was born on June 2, 1959, in Tampa, Florida, to the late Grady E. Ferrell Jr. and Geneva Lies Ferrell. He was educated in Hillsborough County Public Schools. He accepted Jesus Christ at an early age and was a member of the Salvation Army Church in Tampa.

Grady had a passion for cooking and pursued a career as a chef. He was employed in food service at the James A. Haley Veterans' Hospital and also worked with the Salvation Army.

He was preceded in death by: his wife, Sue Ferrell; father, Grady E. Ferrell, Jr.; mother, Geneva Lies Ferrell; sister, Janet Ferrell Thomas; grandparents, Wallace Lies, Grady E. Ferrell, Sr., Amelia Williams (James), and Gussie Ferrell Patten (Edmound); uncle, James Lies, Sr.; aunts, Eunice Floyd (Famous T.), Irene Ferrell Harris, and Martha Ferrell Lara; Godparents, Henry Williams (Eddie Mae); as well as being preceded in death by many loving cousins.

He leaves to cherish his memories: a dedicated daughter, Nakia L. Ferrell and son, Kerry Ferrell; grandchildren, Kelci, Kayla, Alayna and Alena; niece, Lori Thomas; nephew, Justin Thomas; uncle, Willie Harris; cousins, James Lies (Ramona), Carol Brown (Charles), Theodore Floyd (Octeon), Paula George (Willie), Pamela Ferrell, Debra Bliss (Michael, Sr.), Daphyne Daniels (Keith, I), José Lara (Melissa), LaFawn McKay, Rovenia Council, Yasmin Dilbert, Adrian White, Delores White, Eric White and a host of other loving cousins; special friends, Brenda Hunt and Ophelia Bolden; and many other sorrowing relatives and friends.
