Grady Heaton, age 86, of Demorest, passed away on Thursday, September 18, 2025.
Born on March 26, 1939, in Demorest, he was a son of the late Marion and Alice Bohannon Heaton. Grady was a life-long resident of Demorest and was retired from Schnadig with 43 years of service. He was of the Pentecostal faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Charles and Burt Heaton.
Survivors include his wife, Martha Wilson Heaton; son and daughter-in-law, Grady Lamar "Simon" Heaton (Joann); daughters and sons-in-law, Sherry Cook (Bradley) and Jennie Hallford (Keith); grandchildren, Brandon Cook (Amber), Brent Cook (Nichole), Chad Heaton, and Kayla Munsey (Justin); great grandchildren, Ryder Cook and Kaitlyn Cook; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Graveside services are 2:30 pm on Monday, September 22, 2025, at Yonah Memorial Gardens, with Bro. Graylen Armour and Mr. Bradley Cook officiating.
The family will receive friends from 12 - 2 pm on Monday, at the funeral home prior to the service.
