Lamar was a well-respected man for his honesty and his carpentry work. He loved his family more than anything and enjoyed listening to his music and singing his songs to his family when they came to visit. Lamar enjoyed many hobbies, but his favorites were Georgia football, being outside watching the birds and squirrels, and his love for fishing where he was successful in winning tournaments throughout the years.
He is survived by his four children, Angie Hullender, Shea Hall, Kristie Hullender Styles, and Erik Hullender; six grandchildren, Amber Hullender, Shauna (Robert) Leatherwood, Meagan (Randle) Chastain, Justin Styles, Hope (Chuck) Murphy, and Taryn Hullender; and 14 great-grandchildren, Ethan Colbert, Aubree Hullender, Ava Leatherwood, Olivia Leatherwood, Emmalyn Leatherwood, Matthew Hall, Korha Chastain, Ashlyn Chastain, Grayson Chastain, Jayden Styles, Bryson Styles, Noah Styles, Nevaeh Reece, and Cameron Styles.
A private celebration of life will be held with the family.
Arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.
