Grady "Scott" Jackson

Scott Jackson passed away on August 23, 2024, following a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished moments. Born on May 10, 1965, in Gastonia, NC, Grady was a true down to earth gentleman who could often be found behind the bar at Winner's Circle in Gastonia, NC, where he spent his days mixing drinks and making friends.
Scott was a man of simple pleasures; he found joy in the little things like a good round of golf, a successful fishing trip, or cruising down the open road on his beloved motorcycle. His warm and welcoming nature meant he never met a stranger, and his family and special friends held a special place in his heart.
Scott found his calling as a carpenter in the home construction industry, where he honed his skills and left a lasting impact on those he worked with. In his passing, Scott is survived by sister Jackie Dellinger (Terry); nephews Jeffrey Ramsey and Jordan Ray; nieces Brittany Tessier and Jessica Beaver.
Services to celebrate Scott's life and legacy will be held Wednesday, August 28, 2024, 5:00 PM at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, Gastonia and the family will receive friends an hour prior to the service where friends, family, and well-wishers can gather to share memories, laughter, and stories of a life well-lived.
In his memory, let's raise a glass to Scott, a kind and generous soul who touched the lives of all who knew him, and who will be deeply missed.
Scott was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Jackson and Jo Rita McKee; sister, Bobbie Jo Beaver.
