Grady Junior Kelley, 80-year-old Vinita resident, passed away Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at home. He was born on September 23, 1945, to Grady and Clairsie (Sparks) Kelley in Waldron, Arkansas.
Grady lived in Coffeyville, Kansas until moving to Vinita in 1998. Grady owned Atlas Steel in Vinita and was proud of the products they manufactured. He was always at the shop and was known as a workaholic. He genuinely loved the employees at Atlas Steel and considered them his extended family.
He was incredibly involved with his grandchildren throughout their lives and activities. He also never met a stranger and was known for taking his time visiting with people; harassing them, which was how you knew he liked you.
He worked out at the local gym regularly. In his spare time, he played golf, which he had a love/hate relationship.
Grady is survived by his son, Greg Kelley (Stephanie Boatman) of Vinita; grandchildren, Daryn Kelley of Phoenix, Arizona, and Kyndal Kelley of Denver, Colorado; sisters-in-law, Norma Kelley, and Sue Kelley; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Joe Kelley, Norman Kelley, and Dwayne Kelley; and sisters, Erna Kelley, Jimmie Wiebe and husband, Jona, Lee Coffey and husband, Bobby, Ruth Eskew and husband, Royce, and Faye Parks and husband, Durward.
The family will receive friends Friday, December 5, 2025, from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at Luginbuel Funeral Home. Graveside Services will be held Saturday, December 6th at 3:00 P.M. in the Fairview Cemetery, Vinita, Oklahoma with Pastor Blake Allen officiating.
