Grant Wayne Alexander Sheppard

Grant Wayne Alexander Sheppard, age 27, of Brutus, Michigan, died at McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital in Petoskey, on August 4, 2024. He was born on July 9, 1997, in Petoskey, to Scott Steven and Wendy Lee (Findlay) Sheppard.
Grant was known for his big hugs, his love and genuine care of people. It's true great things come in small packages. From a young age you could pick him out of a crowd by his one of a kind laugh. As a kid he loved playing pranks on his mother and brother. He made every event even a anniversary the biggest joyful celebration. Any house would come alive when he came in.
Grant grew up in Brutus and graduated from Penn Foster High school with the Class of 2018. He attended North Central Michigan University and earned his Associates in Applied Science Accounting. He enjoyed working for Koehler Services (now Two Raven Solutions). Grant worked in bookkeeping and tax preparation.
Grant was a member of the Brutus Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses in Brutus. He enjoyed sharing his faith and the Bible's hope with anyone he met.
Grant is survived by his parents, Scott and Wendy; brother, Shawn (Miriam) Sheppard of Williamsburg, Michigan; grandparents, Robert and Roberta Findlay of Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada, and Gloria Sheppard of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan.
Grant was preceded in death by his grandfather, Wayne Sheppard.
He had many true friends and will be greatly missed
He had many uncle and aunts, cousins who he loved and they loved him.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at 2:00 PM, at the Brutus Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, 3069 Jackie Ln., Brutus, MI 49716.
Final Resting Place will be at Oaklawn Chapel Gardens in Bruce Township, Michigan.
