Graydon Clark

Graydon Wayne Clark, age 81, of Mena, Arkansas, passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2024 at his home. He was born on Wednesday, July 29, 1942 to Fritz Graydon and Evelyn Lavella Clark in Great Bend, Kansas.
Graydon, a beloved member of our community, will be fondly remembered for his playful spirit and infectious laughter. Known as a jokester and a master of pranks, he brought joy and countless friendships to all who knew him. Graydon had a passion for riding mules, and deer and bear hunting whenever he could. His dedication extended to the Polk County Mule Search and Recovery team. Professionally, Graydon was an esteemed industrial engineer with a distinguished career across the United States. Recently, he embraced rock polishing and the craft of making unique wines, including pear, peach, tomato, and muscadine. Graydon was a memorable and fun-loving person whose presence brightened every room.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife, Carol Clark; and one son, Steven Clark.
Graydon is survived by three sons and daughters in law, Michael and Ladonna Clark of Benton, Robert and Tamyra Clark of Mena, and John Clark of El Dorado; one daughter and son in law, Angie and Larry Williams; one honorary adopted son and daughter in law, Danny and Christy Winget; three sisters and brothers in law, Nadene and Larry Latzke of Montana, Nancy and Richard Dull of Georgia, Nelda and J.T. Taylor of Kansas; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Bowser Family Funeral Home Chapel in Mena, Arkansas with Brother Max Deaton officiating. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Bowser Family Funeral Home in Mena, Arkansas.
