Grayson Lee Miller

Grayson Lee Miller, 27, of Murphy passed away Monday, December 29, 2025, our hearts are broken. Grayson was a brilliantly talented young man who excelled at so many things. He mauled a golf ball with his Fisher Price golf clubs and ice skated at age two; woke his father up in the middle of the night at age three to tell him he wanted the training wheels removed from his bike immediately; pitched bb's in little league, played Crazy Train on the electric guitar in his youth, and mastered the double-kick on his drums just by sitting down and playing. He loved snowboarding, skate boarding, BMX biking, skim boarding and finger boarding in his teenage years.
Addiction didn't care about who Grayson was or all he had to offer. It stole his hope, dreams and happiness. It robbed us of time with Grayson, but it could not and did not steal our memories and love for him. We will always treasure his wit and sense of humor; his endless imagination and boundless energy. Grayson had a big heart – he loved with all of it. He leaves a hole in our hearts that cannot be filled.
In the end, Grayson was searching for faith. He prayed to God looking for help. Matthew 7:7-8 says "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you." We know God heard Grayson knocking. And He never left Grayson. We pray that someday we will understand Grayson's journey.
Grayson was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Delbert and Phyllis Huizenga.
He leaves behind his wife, Stacey Miller; his parents, Martin and Susan Miller; his little sister and best friend, Megan Miller; his paternal grandparents, Clyde and Dianne Miller; many aunts, uncles and cousins; and his beloved cat, Thanos.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
