Graziano A. Iezzi

GRAZIANO A. "Graz" IEZZI, age 63, retired Philadelphia Police Officer and firearms instructor, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2024, with his loving family by his side. Devoted husband to Diane Iezzi (nee Keating). Loving father to Elizabeth Graham (Jeffrey) and Stephanie Iezzi (Manny Lopez). Cherished grandfather to Leia. Beloved brother to Anna Calabrese (Sam) and Paul Iezzi (Linda).
Graz was born on January 11, 1961, in Chieti, Italy. His family emigrated to the United States in 1967, settling in South Philadelphia. As a child he attended St. Aloysius School in South Philadelphia and received his secondary education at St. John Neumann High School.
In 1989, Graz joined the Philadelphia Police Department, serving in the Narcotics and DEA unit, where he worked along with the US Attorney General's Office. He retired from the Philadelphia Police Department in 2015. Subsequent to his law enforcement career, he worked as a firearm's instructor at Wisen's Range in Furlong, PA, and most recently at Clayton's Range in Horsham.
Being very mechanically inclined, in his spare time Graz enjoyed working on his firearms and motorcycles, and riding his motorcycle with friends. He was a member of various law enforcement motorcycle clubs, most recently with the 'Bullets'. But what Graz enjoyed most was spending time with his family and especially his granddaughter, Leia, whom he adored.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Sunday, October 27, 2024, from 12:00PM until 2:30PM at LOUIS A. DiGIACOMO FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1055 Southampton Road, Philadelphia PA 19116, followed by religious services 2:30PM. Interment private.
