Greg Matthew Carter

Greg Matthew Carter was born May 11,1978 with a vivacious personality and easily became friends with everyone he met. Greg resided in Jefferson Parish and died peacefully on February 6, 2022. He was 43 years old.
Greg was a loving father to his children, Izabella Carter, Gideon Howard, Immanuel McGraw and Nicolai Carter. He is survived by his parents Scott and Gayle Fontana, his brothers Brian S. Carter and Neil G. Carter and many other loving family members, including his father Alvin Carter.
Greg graduated from Sowela Technical College in Lake Charles December of 2009. He went on to pursue a career in Welding and took great pride in his work. He poured his heart into whatever he undertook until he felt it was perfect; this included carpentry projects.
Greg loved country life, fishing, riding horses and always had pets. He enjoyed reading, especially his Bible and would sometimes give sermons at local churches as a guest speaker. He took pleasure in sharing his life experiences and how the Word gave him the strength to change. He imparted on everyone that it was possible for everyone else too. Greg's words always had an impact on his audience.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at L. A. Muhleisen & Son Funeral Home, 2607 Williams Blvd., Kenner on Wednesday, February 16, 2022. Visitation from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. followed by a Prayer Service at 4:00 p.m.
