Joseph Allen III

Joseph Allen, III passed away on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at the age of 74. He was born in New Orleans, LA, on October 7, 1951, to the late Joseph T. Allen Jr. and Verdel M. Allen-Cage. He is also preceded in death by his grandparents, Joseph T. Allen Sr., Ethel M. Collier, Elliot and Cecelia Brown, many aunts and uncles, and his daughter-in-law, Sandra Hopkins. He is survived by his beloved wife of 17 years Regina R. Allen, sister Sandra M. Allen, brothers Charles R. (Delicious) Allen and Keith (NaTia) Allen, daughter Carla J. (Tyrone) Breaux, son Army 1st Sergeant Michael J. (Laticia) Allen, stepson Brandon K. Hopkins, and daughter Joi E. (Emmanuel) Anene, and his devoted grandchildren Tayla, Taryn, Taylor, Tyrone Jr., Lilliana, Gabriella, Chandler and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Joe, better known as T Joe, loved his New Orleans Saints and Baltimore Orioles, fishing with his brothers, his grandkids, Mardi Gras, and being the life of every party. In essence, he loved life. Just eight years ago to the date he passed, he celebrated his "first" retirement with a host of family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend to attend a Celebration of his "second retirement at L.A. Muhleisen & Son Funeral Home, 2607 Williams Blvd., Kenner, LA on November 7, 2025. Visitation from 10:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. followed by a Memorial Service at 11:30 a.m. Repast to follow at Little Zion M.B.C. Fellowship Hall at 2:00 p.m. following the services.
