Greg Chandler, 67, of Rocky Comfort, Missouri, passed away on September 7, 2025, at Cox South in Springfield, Missouri, surrounded by his family. Born to Bob and Marguaret (Moore) Chandler on December 30, 1957, in Harrisonville, Missouri.

Greg had a real passion for bird hunting, not just for the thrill of the sport, but for the good times and the genuine connection he shared with the people he went out with. He was also highly skilled in woodworking, dedicating countless hours to crafting pieces that reflected his attention to detail and creativity. He was a truck driver, dedicating much of his career to the open road and developing a deep appreciation for the freedom and adventure it offered. Above all, his greatest source of happiness came from spending time with his grandchildren, cherishing every moment and creating lasting memories with them.

Survivors include his significant other Shawna Hess; three sons, Mark Chandler and his wives Katherine and Victoria of Green Bay, Wisconsin, Terry Slocum and Mathew Kraft of Wynne, Arkansas; two daughters, Tiffany Chandler of Lumberton, Texas, and Brittney White of Memphis, Tennessee; eight grandchildren, Conor Burmm, Isaac Roane, Cheyanne Damron, Colton Damron, Ayden Kraft, Corbyn Kraft, Cole White, and Dalton White; one brother, Al Chandler of his wife Candie of Cassville, Missouri; three sisters, Karla and her husband Eddie Ball of Butler, Missouri, Mary Mattlock and her husband Gary of Wagoner, Oklahoma, and Jackie Blackburn and her husband Bing of Punta Gorda, Florida.

Greg is preceded in death by his parents, and one brother Dennis, and his grandparents.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are under the direction of White Funeral Home and Crematory.
