LANCASTER, SC – Mr. Henry Benjamin Chandler, lovingly known as "Benny," age 91, passed away on Thursday, September 11, 2025.

Benny honorably served his country as a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Betty Jo Chandler; his son, Benjamin Douglas Chandler; and his daughter, Cynthia Jane Chandler.

He is survived by his daughter, Angie Mackey and her husband Ronnie of Lancaster, SC; two granddaughters, Brooke Plyler and her husband Eric, and Dani Thornton and her husband Jeff; and seven cherished great-grandchildren. Benny also leaves behind a beloved chosen daughter, Xyeani Harris, and chosen granddaughter, Jade Collins, both of Belmont, who held a special place in his heart.

A graveside service to celebrate Benny's life will be held on Monday, September 15, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Memorial Park in Lancaster, officiated by Rev. Brad Threatt. Following the service, the family will receive friends at 2690 Old Camden Monroe Highway in Lancaster.

Benny will be remembered for his devotion to his family, his love for his country, the kindness he showed to all who knew him, and for being a die-hard South Carolina Gamecocks fan.
