Gregory Steven Dziadosz – 4/28/1963
After a long struggle, Greg went home and hugged his Mom and Dad again on October 16, 2023.
Greg faced many challenges growing up, but was always a sweet and happy kid. His family was his world: parents the late Margaret and Albert Dziadosz, brother John Dziadosz (Cynthia), sisters Mary Dziadosz (Jeff) Tobiason and Linda Dziadosz (Mark) Horwath.
Greg is also survived by Nieces and Nephews Kristen Dziadosz (Christopher) Jones, Joe (Deana) Dziadosz, Jackie Dziadosz (Grant) Behic, Lauren Tobiason, Carrie Tobiason (Alan) Soriano, Allison Horwath (Dustin) Keller, Michael Horwath (Megan) and Great Nieces and Nephews: Isaac Dziadosz, Samuel Dziadosz, Millie Dziadosz, Tatum Jones, Rylan Jones, Abby Soriano, Albert Soriano, Ava Behic, Autumn Behic, Lincoln Keller, Jackson Keller and Freya Horwath.
Greg was able to live independently for a time as an adult and worked as a janitor for the Milwaukee Public Schools for 16 years before he "retired" in 1998. He was very proud of his job and probably only missed 2 or 3 days of work due to illness the entire time he worked.
The death of our Mom hit Greg really hard and he slowly declined in his ability to live on his own and work without more and more support. Greg always sought the comfort of his family for that support and family was so important to him. He'd always say, "I love you guys to death!" Greg was a people person. He'd talk to everyone he met. He'd know everyone's name that he encountered. Serious health issues in the last ten years of his life forced Greg to live at Clearview Nursing Facility in Juneau, Wisconsin where he knew probably every staff member in the building.
Greg would help anyone out anytime. When he was younger and physically able, he'd cut your grass for you anytime, it was one of his favorite things to do. Anyone who knew Greg knew he had a list of "Gregism's" that he would repeat over and over again, the number one being "Can I go back to work?" and "Am I a good person?" Greg struggled with the loss of his independence and his health, but his Catholic Faith was strong and he maintained his "Dziadosz" sense of humor. But he wanted nothing more than to go "home."
"Greg, we love you to death!" and "Yes, you're are a good person."
Visitation from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM, followed by a service at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 1, 2023 at Krause Funeral Home, 21600 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, Wisconsin.
Memorials may be made in Greg's name to the National Alliance on Mental Health (NAMI).
