David Robert Dziadosz, 73, of Jefferson City, MO, passed away on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at his home.
Born on November 27, 1951, David was the beloved son of Joseph Edward Dziadosz Sr. of Braddock, PA, and Leona H. Caroline (Roedel) Dziadosz of California, MO.
David attended California High School in California, MO where he developed his interest in mechanics completing an auto mechanics course, and graduated on May 23, 1969. Also, during high school, David was one of two students selected to compete in the nationwide Plymouth Troubleshooting contest in St. Louis, MO. His pursuit of technical education led him to complete multiple specialized courses, including Marine Services and Business Accounting at Tri County Technical School in 1976, and Heating and Air Conditioning Technology at Nichols Career Center in 1984. He retired from the state of Missouri where he served as a Heating and Cooling Technician, Stationary Engineer, and HVAC Controls Technician at the Missouri State Capital Complex.
He was united in marriage to Sharon (Wenneker) Dziadosz, whom he often referred to as the love of his life and whose relationship was a true testament of love, support, commitment, and companionship.
David was a true craftsman whose accomplishments and talents extended far beyond his professional work. He was known for his exceptional skill in creating his own handcrafted bamboo fly rods and turkey calls, which he both used and sold. He also enjoyed tying his own flies. He was an avid gardener, skilled carpenter, and passionate hunter. David's love for the outdoors was much more than a passion for him – it was an opportunity for him to spend time with his two sons, Nathan Robert and David Andrew. This is where David taught his boys the patience of hunting, the intricacies of fly fishing, and the value of creating something with their own hands. These would become moments of bonding, countless cherished memories, and stories they could share with others. While David's life was marked by many accomplishments, it was his love for his family that defined him the most.
David was baptized and confirmed at the United Church of Christ in California, MO, where he spent his formative years, and later transferred his membership to Immanuel Lutheran Church at Honey Creek in Jefferson City, MO, where he continued his faith.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon of Jefferson City, MO; son Nathan Robert Dziadosz (Lynette) of Jefferson City, MO; son David Andrew Dziadosz of Jefferson City, MO; sister Carol (Dziadosz) Eddy (James) of Germantown, TN; brother Michael Dziadosz (Gloria) of Jamestown, MO; grandchildren John (Shannon), Carla, Jason, Dylan, Kaylynn and Paisley of Jefferson City, MO; great-grandchildren Asher, Theo, Remi and Nathan James of Jefferson City, MO; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by Joseph Dziadosz, III (nephew), Cathy Dziadosz (sister in law), Joseph Dziadosz, Jr. (brother), Leona Dziadosz (mother), and Joseph Dziadosz (father).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2025 from 5-7 P.M. at the funeral home. There will be another Visitation on Friday, March 14, 2025 from 10-11 A.M. with the funeral service immediately following at 11 A.M. at Immanuel Lutheran Church near Brazito. There will be a graveside service following the funeral service at 2:00 P.M. at the Moniteau Evangelical Advent Cemetery near Jamestown. Memorials are suggested to the Immanuel Lutheran Church and School c/o the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services of California, MO.
