Greg Finkbeiner, 64, of Greenwood, Arkansas, passed away on Friday, July 25, 2025, at St. Vincent Infirmary in Little Rock. A devoted husband, loving father, brother, and proud patriot, Greg lived a life marked by service, compassion, and deep love for his country and family. Born on October 27, 1960, in Danville, Arkansas, Greg was the son of the late Ronnie Finkbeiner and Margie Meriweather. From a young age, Greg showed a quiet strength and strong sense of duty that would shape the rest of his life. On May 27, 1995, Greg married the love of his life, Courtney Ward, in Greenwood. Together, they built a home filled with warmth, laughter, and unwavering support for their three children: Kayden, Ashley, and Kendel. Greg proudly served his country as a Registered Nurse in the United States Air Force, where his caring spirit met his commitment to service. His career combined the healing hands of a caregiver with the steady discipline of a serviceman. Following his time in the military, Greg continued to impact lives in the medical field while maintaining his strong faith as a member of South Tampa Fellowship. Greg's life was deeply rooted in family. He was the kind of father who showed up - whether at games, graduations, or simply around the dinner table. He cherished time spent with loved ones and was always ready with a listening ear or a helping hand. He was immensely proud of his military family and their accomplishments. Greg was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Brad Finkbeiner. He is survived by his beloved wife, Courtney Finkbeiner of Greenwood; son, Kayden Finkbeiner (Alden), of Portsmouth, VA; daughters, Ashley Finkbeiner and Kendel Finkbeiner; brothers, Shawn Finkbeiner and Ronnie Finkbeiner; sisters, Nancy Bailey Rasmussen and Mona Koeth; and a host of extended family and friends who will miss him dearly. A memorial service honoring Greg's life will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, August 2, 2025, at Humphrey Chapel under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service. Full military honors will be rendered by the United States Air Force. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 9:00 to 10:00 AM at the funeral home.
