Gregorio "Greg" Gutierrez, a beacon of laughter and light in the lives of many, took his final bow on November 18, 2025, in Hunt, TX. Born in Winston Salem, NC, on October 2, 2004, Greg was a spirited soul from the start. He lived his 21 years with a vigor that was infectious, a humor that was unmatchable, and a love for his family that was unshakable.
His wife, Sorryah Rodriguez, was his partner in both life and viral TikTok antics. Together with their son, Jeremiah Gutierrez, they formed an unbreakable trio, spreading joy and family shenanigans. Greg's mother, Krystle Goni, and his step-father, Christopher Stephens, were his rocks, while his father, also named Gregorio Gutierrez, instilled in him the strength and courage he carried throughout his life. His sisters, Amaya and Gabriella, were often the targets of his playful pranks, but they also shared an unspoken bond that only siblings can understand. His grandmother, Sylvia Rios, and grandfather, Manuel Goni (Sara), along with his Aunt Jeannette Goni (Oscar) and Uncle Manuel Goni (Ashley), Aunt Jasmine Goni, Uncle Carlos Goni (Colton), Aunt Yvette Rios (Lupe) and his best friends, Mia Juarez, Adrea Zarate, Maria Zarate as well as numerous family and friends were integral parts of his vast support network.
Greg graduated from Moe & Gene Johnson High School in the class of 2023. His hands were as skilled as his heart was large; he excelled in welding and had plans to hone his craft at UTI. He also had dreams to attend barber school and become a barber. Greg's work ethic was evident from his high school days, where he balanced catering gigs and recently worked for South Texas Construction LLC.
A Christian by faith, Greg lived by the golden rule, treating others with a kindness and respect that was surpassed only by his quick wit and ability to find humor in every situation. His interests were as varied as his talents. A robust varsity football player, he held the line as a formidable nose guard. Off the field, Greg was an avid fisherman, a music enthusiast, and a dancer, he thought he had the moves that could rival any TikTok trend.
But above all, Greg was a family man. Being a father was the role he cherished most, and his devotion to his son and wife was the truest expression of his loving heart. Every morning, he shared his thoughts and dreams with his mother, embodying the quintessential "momma's boy" with pride.
Greg's spirit was characterized by his ability to make others smile. He was the class clown, a prankster with a heart of gold, and a thoughtful soul who could brighten even the darkest of days. His love for Mexican food was almost as legendary as his humor, and those who knew him will forever miss the sound of his laughter and the warmth of his presence.
As we bid farewell to Gregorio "Greg" Gutierrez, let us remember the joy he brought into the world. He was funny, thoughtful, and loving-a man who lived fully, laughed freely, and loved deeply. His legacy is one of happiness and heart, and though he may have left the stage too soon, the echoes of his laughter and his smile will resonate forever in the hearts of those who loved him.
