Jesse Ramos Euresti, a beloved father, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family in his hometown of Austin, Texas, on November 21, 2025. Born on January 20, 1974, also in Austin, Jesse lived a life marked by love, laughter, and unwavering faith. Jesse was a cherished son to his parents, Jimmy and Frances Euresti, and a supportive brother to MaryEllen Delagarza, Debbie Ann Esqueda (Mike), Elizabeth Gomez and God-daughter Valeria Alvez. His life was blessed with the joy of his two sons, Jesse Euresti Jr. and Joshua Carrillo, who were the pride and joy of his life.
Jesse's journey through life was one filled with devotion and service. After graduating from Crockett High School, he pursued his passion for justice by obtaining an AA in Criminal Justice from Austin Community College and subsequently graduating from the Austin Police Academy. Although his time as a police officer was brief, it was a path that showcased his innate desire to serve and protect. He later joined his father's moving business and then dedicated over two decades of his life to the IRS in Austin, where he was known for his commitment and integrity.
Jesse's heart found its match in Jennifer, whom he married on April 6, 2002, at Buenas Nuevas Church in Austin, TX. Their time together, though short, was filled with love and mutual support. Jesse was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jennifer, on December 20, 2023, and by his brother, Roger Euresti.
A man of deep Christian faith, Jesse's love for the Lord was evident in every aspect of his life. He was a familiar face in the church, where he played his acoustic guitar for worship services, a talent he had nurtured since he was three years old. Even during his challenging battle with chemotherapy, Jesse lifted spirits and praises with his music, inspiring many with his resilience and devotion.
Jesse's interests were as diverse as his talents. A true enthusiast of classic cars, he took great pride in his 1957 Chevy and 1968 Chevelle, often showcasing them at car shows. His love for music was matched by his passion for bargain shopping, collecting sports memorabilia, and indulging in the worlds of Star Wars and Star Trek. Jesse was also an avid collector of model electric trains, and his loyalty to his sports teams-the Miami Dolphins, Oakland A's, and NY Yankees-was unwavering.
But above all, Jesse was a family man. He was incredibly proud of his sons and relished spending time with his loved ones. Known as the family prankster, he had a knack for telling jokes and bringing joy to every gathering. Jesse's presence was a source of laughter and love, and his faith-filled spirit was a beacon of light to all who knew him.
In remembering Jesse, we celebrate a life that was loving, funny, and faith-filled. He touched the lives of many with his humor, compassion, and unwavering positivity. While his earthly presence will be deeply missed, the memories of his laughter, his music, and his loving spirit will continue to bless us all. Jesse Ramos Euresti's legacy of love and light will forever shine in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
