Greg A. Mills, a cherished father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully from natural causes on September 16, 2025, at the age of 46, in Evansville, his spirit leaving a world he made brighter. Born on October 4, 1978, in Evansville, he lived a life marked by passion, kindness, and an unwavering commitment to his family and faith.

A devout Christian, Greg's life was a reflection of his values and beliefs. His love for his family knew no bounds, and he was a source of strength and inspiration to them. He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with his son, Mark Mills; daughters, Autumn Mills and three adored grandchildren, Jeremiah, Summer, and Parker. Greg's siblings, Johnny Mills with his wife Valentina, Rob Mills with his partner Shawn, and Rhonda Mills with her husband Rob, will forever remember their brother's hearty laugh and generous spirit. His beloved parents, Elaine Doris French Slicker and Ray Mills, will miss their son deeply, as will his children's mother, Leola Shouse, along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who were touched by his presence in their lives.

He is preceded in death by his daughter Alyssa Mills and one brother Joe King.

Greg's passion for collecting sports cards was more than a hobby; it was a way of connecting with others and sharing his love for the game. He could often be found at trade shows, where he was a familiar and welcome face, or on YouTube, where he eagerly absorbed information on the latest trading strategies. His collection was a testament to his dedication and keen eye for value, and he delighted in using his knowledge to make savvy trades that would improve his array of baseball, basketball, and football cards.

His enthusiasm for his interests was only matched by his dedication to his family. Greg's children and grandchildren were the center of his world, and he took every opportunity to involve them in his pursuits, teaching them the finer points of collecting and trading. His wisdom and warmth will continue to guide them, even as they learn to navigate life without him by their side.

Greg's life was a tapestry woven with devotion, generosity, and the joy of simple pleasures. His unwavering faith guided him through life's challenges and triumphs, and his gentle spirit left a lasting impression on all who knew him. As we say goodbye to Greg A. Mills, we celebrate a life well-lived and a man dearly loved. His memory will be treasured forever in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
