Gregg Lepisto Obituary
Bootjack: Gregg "Gator" Lepisto passed away unexpectedly on March 28th, 2025 in Bootjack Michigan.
Gregg was born on February 5th, 1968 in Calumet, Michigan, a son of Ronald and Mary Lou (Moyle) Lepisto. He graduated from Lake Linden Hubbell High School in 1986 and was a proud Lakes Football alumni. He worked for Moyle Inc. for most of his career, and was a proud member of the Bootjack Fire Department for over 20 years. He served as the Department Engineer and Treasurer. He married Denise (Larson) on October 19th, 1991, and they went on to have 3 daughters together.
He enjoyed the simple pleasures in life: spending time with his wife and kids, spending time on the water whether it was on the boat or just sitting on the dock, cutting grass, being an early riser, watching hockey, and a Busch Light. A near life-long resident of Bootjack, Gregg liked to joke that he was always on "Bootjack Time" even when he traveled to other time zones. He enjoyed listening to Neil Diamond music, deer-hunting, and time at the deer-camp.
He is survived by his wife Denise, children Abbey (Avery), Tara, and Natalie, sister Connie (Jim) Peterman of DePere, WI, and twin brother Gordy (Kris) Lepisto of Menomonee Falls, WI, step dad Ben Leiker, in-laws-John and Tonia Larson, brother-in-law Eric Larson and sister-in-law Jenette (John) Kelly and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
The visitation for Gregg will be from noon until 2:00 P.M. on Friday, April 4, 2025 at the Pearce Funeral Home in Lake Linden, with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 P.M., with Rev Bucky Beach to officiate.
