Gregorio "Greg" Hernandez, 51 years old, of Fontana, went to be with the Lord on March 16, 2022, comfortably at home, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on April 22, 1970 in San Bernardino, CA. Greg leaves behind his wife and soulmate, "Bebee'' Guadalupe Hernandez, his children Bianca, Junior, Monica, Jessica, and Vanessa, their spouses Moises, Meyoshe, Daniel, and Ben, his grandchildren Danielle, Sonny, Nehemiah, Sophia, Mia, Isabella and Abel, his mother Esther, and his four siblings. He was preceded in death by his father Gregorio.
Growing up, Greg had a very adventurous childhood. He told stories about digging tunnels, playing sports in the streets, and cruising with his grandparents. His adolescence was spent with his siblings, cousins, and neighborhood friends whom he made many memories with.
Greg met his wife, Bebee, at the young age of sixteen years old at a school dance. What began as a friendship would later turn into a marriage of 32 years. The thing Greg loved most in life was spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren. He enjoyed coaching his children's baseball teams, fishing even when he didn't catch fish, and spoiling his grandchildren. He was a very loving and caring man. There is nothing in the world that he would not do for his family.
Greg worked in construction for most of his adult life until he changed careers in 2005 when he became a truck driver. Shortly after, he then began a long journey of battling various health issues. In December of 2016, he suffered a life changing stroke. Although doctors were not optimistic about his quality of life, God kept him here on Earth for several more years, and with the assistance of his wife and children, Greg was able to continue making beautiful memories and watch his family grow.
Greg was a one of a kind man. He was always the life of the party telling jokes and dancing. He was once described as having a heart as big as his huge hands. He will forever be missed and the memories left with his family will be shared for generations to come.
