Anita "Vicky" Gonzales

A loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and wife, Anita "Vicky" Gonzales, went to Heaven on August 1, 2025 after a brave battle with illness. Vicky never met a stranger and quickly became a friend and protector to everyone.

Vicky was born October 23, 1941 in Ontario, California. She spent nearly all of her life in Fontana and graduated from Fontana High School in 1960. Vicky married the love of her life, Clyde Gonzales, in 1965, and together they raised three children. She enjoyed a full career providing administrative support for a variety of businesses, before becoming a phlebotomist, a position she loved until her retirement in 2002.

Throughout her life, she enjoyed sewing, crocheting, vacationing with friends, listening to mariachi music, taking care of her sweet dogs, and above all, spending time with her beloved grandchildren.

Vicky is survived by her former husband Clyde, daughter Diane Guzman, son Ray Gonzales, grandchildren Brandon, Amanda, Ashley, Derek, and Tayler, greatgrandchildren, Madison, Charlotte, Scarlett, and JJ, and her brother Richard and sister-in-law Delia. She was predeceased by her younger daughter, Susan. Her family felt her love always.
