Pamela Nisbett Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Ingold Funeral & Cremation - Fontana on Sep. 18, 2025.

Publish in a newspaper

Pamela Bonnie Nisbett passed away peacefully in her sleep on September 16, 2025, at home,

cradled in the arms of her husband, life partner, and best friend of over fifty years, Sam Nisbett.

Her final moments were a reflection of the life she lived-filled with love, warmth, and quiet

strength.

Born to the matriarch of the family Alma (Lerner) Visser and Albert Lerner, Pam was the

beloved youngest sister of two older sisters Robin and Debra who guided and mentored her with

wisdom and affection. From a young age, she displayed a rare blend of compassion,

determination, and joy that would come to define her life.

A proud graduate of Montclair High School, Class of 1977, Pam served as a Song Leader,

uplifting school spirit and building community through her infectious energy. At just 20 years

old, she entered the business world while raising a young family-quickly proving herself a

natural leader. Her exceptional people skills and infectious smile propelled her from entry-level

roles to assistant store manager and, eventually, to the proud achievement of becoming a woman-

owned business owner.

Pam also pursued a personal passion as a scholar of gemology. Working alongside certified

gemologists in a local jewelry store, she helped thousands of couples find the perfect token of

their love-using her keen eye, careful listening, and gentle guidance to match each customer

with a piece that told their story, a love story Pam has authored herself for decades.

At the heart of everything Pam did was her family. She was a devoted and nurturing mother to

her three children-Brad, Ben, and Brittany-and a deeply proud grandmother to four beautiful

grandchildren Jeffrey, Isabel, Ari and Isla who brought her immeasurable joy. Through every

chapter, she anchored those around her with unwavering love, faith, and steadiness.

Pam's life was rich with adventure and discovery. She traveled across Western Europe, the

United States, Canada, Mexico, and the Bahamas, collecting memories and connections

wherever she went, just look at the magnets on her fridge. Whether exploring faraway places or

gathering family around the dinner table, Pam made every moment feel meaningful.

She is survived by her beloved husband Sam, three cherished children and a gaggle of

family and friends. Though she leaves behind a deep and lasting absence, her presence will

continue to be felt in the lives of the many she inspired, loved, mentored, and supported.

Pam was a cousin, friend, and confidante to more people than could ever be counted. Her light,

laughter, and legacy will live on in every life she touched.

A celebration of Pamela's life will be held on Thursday September 25 th at the Ingold chapel at

8277 Juniper Ave, Fontana, CA 92335.
