Greg was the beloved husband of Cindy Bellinger, with whom he shared 43 years of unwavering love and devotion. Together, they built a life full of joy and cherished memories. He was a pillar of strength and support for his two daughters, Tiffany Collins (Kyle) and Melissa Allen (Gabriel). Greg's academic achievements were marked by his attainment of a Master's degree, which paved the way for a distinguished 43-year career as a biochemist. His professional dedication was matched only by his compassion, as evidenced by his impactful service as a chaplain at Loma Linda University Medical Center in Murrieta. Over four years, Greg shared the love of Jesus with more than 12,000 patients, providing comfort and hope during their most challenging moments.
An avid surfer and fisherman, Greg found solace and joy in the embrace of the ocean. His passion for sports extended beyond personal enjoyment as he took great pleasure in coaching softball and soccer, influencing many young lives with his positive spirit and encouragement. His faith was the cornerstone of his existence, guiding him as a loving husband, father, brother, tribal elder, sports coach, biochemist, chaplain, and grandparent. Greg's life was a testament to the power of faith in action.
Those who knew Greg would describe him as loving, kind, and faith-filled. His presence was a source of comfort and inspiration, and his actions reflected the depth of his belief in kindness and service to others. Greg's legacy is not just in the lives he touched, but in the example he set for living a life rooted in love and faith.
