Gregory A. Bernard

Gregory A. Bernard, 62, of Anderson, passed away following an extended illness on February 27, 2026, at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, surrounded by his family. He was born on June 19, 1963, in Anderson, Indiana.

Greg graduated from Anderson High School, Class of 1981.

He was a truck driver for US Foods and was inducted into the IFDA Truck Driver Hall of Fame in 2022 for being a safe driver for over 35 years.

He was a member of the Teamsters Union 135 and the NRA. He loved his vegetable garden, fishing, being in nature, traveling, and being with his family.

Greg is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Crissie Bernard; sons, Kyle Bernard and Dustin (Callie) Bernard; mother, Joyce L. (Fred) Bernard; sister, Teresa Fountain; special grand dog, Ruby, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Bernard, and brother, Michael Bernard.

Visitation will be held Saturday, March 7, 2026, 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd St., Anderson, IN.

Services will be Saturday, March 7, 2026, at 4:00 pm at the funeral home with Rev. Johnny Cawthon officiating.
