Gregory Birch, affectionately known as Greg, was born on January 11, 1961, in Detroit, Michigan. He left this world on November 15, 2024, in Pontiac, Michigan, leaving behind a legacy of love and laughter.

Greg was known for his warm personality and generous spirit. His love language was gift giving, and he had a unique ability to make those around him feel valued and cared for. Not only was he humorous, but he also had an innate capacity for empathy—his friends and family often remarked that Greg made them feel like they were not going through life alone. He was a steadfast presence in many lives, always ready with a supportive word or a thoughtful gesture.

In his leisure time, Greg was an avid hunter and had a passion for racing, particularly NASCAR. He found joy in the kitchen, where he loved to cook and bake, often sharing delicious meals with family and friends. Greg was also a devoted hockey fan, passionately following the Detroit Red Wings. His sense of humor shined brightly in his love for sending the best memes, bringing smiles and laughter to all who received them.

Greg is survived by his nephew, Michael (Rosalyne) Birch, and his niece, Heather (Jason) Jorgensen. He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Leonard and Helen Birch, his brother Michael (Marilyn) Birch, Sr., and his sister Kathleen Birch. Greg also leaves behind many close friends. His very special friend, Amber, was never far from Greg's side and they both enjoyed life better when they were together.

As we remember Greg, we celebrate a man who embodied kindness, humor, and an unwavering support for those he loved. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
