Gregory James Bovre, 78, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away peacefully into eternal life on Saturday, September 13, 2025.
Greg was born on June 26, 1947, to Robert and Georgia (Olsen) Bovre in Stoughton, WI. He graduated from Evansville High School and went on to graduate with his Bachelor of Science degree at UW-Madison.
Greg worked in cattle sales before becoming a State Farm Insurance agent for 34 years in Sheboygan Falls until his retirement in 2020.
Greg was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sheboygan Falls for 42 years where he faithfully served in many capacities.
Greg found his greatest joy in spending time with his family, children, grandchildren, and dear friends. He also loved playing golf and cheering on his favorite Wisconsin sports teams, especially the Badgers.
Greg is survived by his children Mindy (Scott) Tanner of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and Gavin (Kim) Bovre of Hartland, WI; grandchildren Walker and Finn Bovre; brother Rick (Paula) Bovre, Fond du Lac, WI; and special friend Carol Stenklyft. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother.
A memorial service to celebrate Greg’s life will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sheboygan Falls on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at 3:30pm. Visitation will take place at church from 12:30pm until 3:15pm.
