Gregory Britt

Gregory Dean Britt, 69, of Akron, went home to be with the Lord, February 27, 2026. He was born in Lima, Ohio on July 15, 1956 to the late Robert and Patricia (Sharp) Britt. Retired from BWX Technologies and Norton Co. Besides being a wonderful Dad, he enjoyed woodworking and building things. His passion was flight and later obtained his private pilots license. As a Sunday School teacher he touched and encouraged many lives. Preceded in death by brother, Dennis Britt. Greg is survived by his loving son, Daniel Britt, sister Debra (Al) Schrader, brother, Rick Britt, and many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Sunday, March 8th from 1pm to 3pm at Newcomer Funeral Home 131 N Canton Road, Akron. Funeral service to follow at 3pm Sunday. Interment will be Monday 12pm with procession from Newcomer Funeral Home to Mount Peace cemetery in Hartville. A special thank you to the T3 ICU team at Akron City Hospital for terrific care.
