A devoted single mother, sister, aunt, and daughter, Lori was a remarkable individual whose strength and determination left an indelible mark on all who knew her.
Lori pursued her education at Ellet High School, where she laid the foundation for a life characterized by hard work and dedication. She held various positions throughout her career, beginning as a dedicated employee at Dave Supermarket on Exchange Street in Akron, Ohio. She later spent several years at Krispy Kreme Doughnuts on Maple Street in West Akron, where her warm personality charmed many. Most recently, she served as the general manager at GetGo on Whipple Avenue in Canton, Ohio.
Lori possessed an incredible gift for transforming challenging situations into moments of joy, always willing to lend a helping hand just to see others smile. Her passions included spending time at the beach, enjoying shopping days with her mother, and creating cherished memories with family during cookouts. As a proud grandmother, she delighted in spending time with her grandchildren and cherished tranquil moments on her deck.
Lori's journey was marked with a strong, unwavering fight that meant the world to those around her. She fought valiantly against her challenges, motivated by the profound love for her family. Though the fight was sometimes exhausting, Lori's spirit never wavered, and her determination resonated deeply with her loved ones.
She leaves behind a legacy of love and resilience, survived by her children, Monica (Brian Dennis) Dutch and David (Brittany) Hosey. Her memory will forever be cherished by her father, Donald Aaron, her mother, Anita Aaron, and her siblings, Robin Kavanagh and Jay Aaron. Additionally, Lori is survived by her cherished grandchildren: Darian Johnson, Bry’air Wilson, Gavriella Hosey, Evan Hosey, Averie Hosey, and David Hosey Jr.
Lori's life will be honored at Newcomer Funeral Home, located at 131 N Canton Rd, Akron, Ohio. Visitation will take place on March 16, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at 12:00 PM.
Though Lori has departed from this world, her spirit and love will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege to know her. She was truly a remarkable woman who touched many lives, and her legacy of compassion and strength will not be forgotten.
