Gregory Cantrell Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Wiley Funeral Home - Granbury on Apr. 27, 2025.
Gregory 'Keith' Cantrell, 64, beloved husband, son, father, grandfather, and "Breadman", passed away peacefully on Friday evening, April 25, 2025, in his Granbury home surrounded by loved ones.
A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at 1 P.M., on Thursday, May 15, 2025, in the main sanctuary at Stonewater Church in Granbury, 911 East US Highway 377, in Granbury. Cowboy attire is welcomed. After the service, there will be light refreshments in the church Coffee House and some space to mingle and tell stories.
Keith was born on July 1, 1960, in Centralia, Illinois to Robert (Bob)and Sally Cantrell. He married Louanne Barker on May 30, 1992. Keith deeply enjoyed nature. He loved going camping, visiting national parks, and he was always outside gardening. As an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, he made it to Texas as soon as he could. Keith was an owner and distributor for Mrs. Baird's and affectionately earned the nickname, "Breadman." After retiring, he gave numerous baked goods to those in need through food pantries. Keith was a man of faith and was an active member of the Anchor Fellowship Church in Granbury. He was a selfless man who always put others before himself! Keith never met a stranger. Most of all, Keith cherished time spent with his family – particularly his granddaughter, Alice, and was eagerly anticipating the arrival of his 2nd granddaughter, Eliza Cantrell in September.
Keith is survived by his wife, Louanne; his children, Carey (and husband Chad) Norton and Kyle (and wife Callie) Cantrell; his granddaughter, Alice Cantrell; his parents, Bob and Sally Cantrell; his sister, Robin and husband Al Lind; brother, Tim and wife Glenda Cantrell; and by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Keith's memory may be made to either the Rancho Brazos Community Center or to the Anchor Fellowship Church .
