Gregory V. Caruso

Gregory V. Caruso, of Pompton Lakes formerly of New Milford, passed away after a long battle with cancer on August 23, 2025, at the age of 48.

Greg grew up in New Milford where he graduated from New Milford High School. After high school he became a licensed electrician and spent his career working for the Local #164 IBEW. He was a family man first and foremost, who cherished nothing more than vacations with his kids, playing endless board games, watching movies or going fishing with them.

He was greeted in heaven with open arms by his sister Michelle Moyle.

Survived by his cherished children Chloe, Emma and Michael Caruso. Devoted parents Vincent and Carol Ann Caruso. Dear siblings Vincent Caruso and his wife Lisa, Stephanie Dengel and her husband John, and Jessica Novakidis and her husband Jimmy; and brother-in-law Bob. Greg will be missed by many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins, and countless friends.

A memorial visitation will be held at Basralian Funeral Home, 559 Kinderkamack Road in Oradell on Sunday, September 7th from 4-7PM. A memorial mass will be offered at St. Joseph R.C.
