Gregory A. Corrow, 66, passed away peacefully surrounded by love on March 16, 2023. Greg was born in Caribou, Maine on September 19, 1956, the son of Gregory and Ellen Corrow.
Greg developed a strong work ethic over the years, from helping on his uncle's potato farm in Fort Fairfield to serving in the Navy on the USS Portland in 1977. He went on to graduate from KVTC as an electrician which led him to his longest career, working at Bath Iron Works for over 30 years.
Greg was a proud and loving father, bringing up his 4 girls: Jessica, Kate, Deanna and Alexis.
His appreciation for those he cared about shined through his actions, in particular through his woodworking hobby that he especially enjoyed during retirement. Whether refinishing antique furniture or building a special project of his own, Greg enjoyed using his skills and craftsmanship to provide timeless pieces for his family and others to enjoy.
Greg was known by his family and friends as a quiet, unassuming, and genuine soul. He leaves behind a legacy of true resilience that will be forever remembered by all who knew him.
We imagine Greg, chasing that good summer sunshine, drinking a cold IPA, and watching the game.
He is survived by his wife Vanessa; daughters Jessica and Brian, Kate and Travis, Deanna, and Alexis; grandchildren Leah and Jacob; brothers John, Jim and Elaine, Alan and Elaine; sister Beth and Marc; in-laws Valerie and Glenn, Kristi and Steve, Tania and Tom; nephews and nieces, family and friends. Greg was predeceased by his parents Gregory and Ellen, and brother Brent.
A Celebration of Life to honor Greg will be June 24th, at 11:00 AM at the Gustaf Adolph Lutheran Church in New Sweden. Interment will be held at the New Sweden Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating in Greg's name to the Gustaf Adolph Church, P.O. Box 54, New Sweden, ME 04762, or Maine Needs, 332 Forest Ave., Portland, ME 04101 https://www.maineneeds.org
