Gregory Dale “Greg” Johnson, 40, a resident of Lynnville, TN, died Thursday, November 20, 2025 at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Graveside services will be conducted Monday, November 24, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Gibsonville Cemetery with Donnie Davis officiating. The family will visit with friends on Sunday November 23, 2025 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home.
The family suggest memorials be made to the Maury County Animal Shelter 1233 Mapleash Ave, Columbia, TN 38401. Online condolences may be extended at www.oakesandnichols.com.
Born on July 16, 1985 in Columbia, TN, he was the son of Gary Johnson and Patsy Fox Johnson. Greg loved to tinker, and could always be found working on old cars or tending to his cattle. He was a jokester who was always cutting up and making others laugh. Greg loved his family dearly, especially his two nephews. He was a member of Bethel Church of Christ.
In addition to his parents, Greg is survived by his fiancée, Amity Adkins; brother, Eric (April) Johnson; nephews, Evan Johnson and Andre Johnson; and his cousin, who was more like a brother, Tim Harris.
Pallbearers will be Eric Johnson, Evan Johnson, Tim Harris, Hayden Harris, Shane Fox, and Buddy Grooms.
