Alberta B Johnson

Ms. Alberta B. Johnson, of Como, North Carolina, was born on September 26, 1937, in Gates County, North Carolina. On February 22, 2026, she peacefully transitioned from this life with her loving family by her beside.

Alberta was the true definition of love in action. She was an amazing mother, a wonderful grandmother, a devoted sister, and a loyal friend. Her life was marked by generosity; she was the kind of person who would give her last without hesitation. Her heart was as big as her family, and she took great pride in each generation that followed her.

She was a woman of faith who found comfort and joy in gospel music, especially the songs of Lee Williams. Those melodies often filled her home and reflected the deep spiritual foundation on which she lived her life.

Alberta leaves behind a large and loving family who will forever cherish her wisdom, her strength, her warm smile, and the countless sacrifices she made for those she loved. Her presence was a steady source of comfort, guidance, and unwavering support.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Saturday, February 28, 2026, from 3:00pm until 6:00pm at the funeral home for a time of viewing, reflection, and fellowship.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, March 1, 2026, at 3:00pm at Upper Room Assembly Church.

Ms. Johnson will be laid to rest at the Boone Family Cemetery in Gates, North Carolina.

Though she is no longer with us in body, her love, kindness, and legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Her life was truly a beautiful example of faith, family, and selfless love.
