Gregory Duda Obituary
Gregory Dmitri Duda left this world peacefully on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, after a brave and valiant fight with Glioblastoma. He was surrounded by his loving wife and daughters, who remained by his side until the very end.
Born in Baltimore, Maryland on September 13, 1963, to Dorothy Louise (Breuning) Duda and George Duda, Greg graduated from Mount Hebron High School and the RETS Technical Institute in Baltimore where he studied Fire Alarm and Time Recording Systems. He formed the G&G Construction Company and worked in home improvements. He loved building and was a skilled carpenter. Greg later used his expertise in electronics systems at Kinetix Fire and Safety Experts where he rose to and held a Project Manager position. He was fond of his many coworkers in the Kinetix family. Greg was the recipient of the company's Leadership Award at the annual Holiday Celebration last December.
A resident of New Market, Maryland, since 1996, Greg will be remembered for his lifelong loves of sports, fishing, hiking with his family and dogs, motorcycle rides with friends, servicing his daughters' cars, completing home and gardening projects as well as following his daughters in their equestrian, soccer and volleyball achievements. Greg loved being part of his girls' club soccer, volleyball, and "barn" families! He was a loyal Ravens and Capitals fan!
Family and friends will recall his sense of humor, love of family, loyalty to friends, and ability to fix just about anything. His joy at volunteering for his daughters' sports, whether at equestrian events, soccer, or volleyball games, endeared him to the community.
