Gregory Brian Gibson

Gregory Brian Gibson, age 47, of Staffordsville, Kentucky, formerly of David, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at his residence Monday, October 13, 2025.He was born July 21, 1978 to Vicki (Larry) Gibson of Staffordsville, Kentucky and Donald (Carol) Prater of Mentone, Indiana. Along with his parents he is survived by his loving Grandmother: Ruth Shepherd of David, Kentucky; Wife: Rebecca (Sexton) Gibson of Staffordsville, Kentucky; Daughters: Candace, Abby and Isabella; Brothers: Christopher Prater of Leander, Kentucky, Terry Gibson of Staffordsville, Kentucky and Anthony Prater, Jason Francis and Nate Meyers all of Mentone, Indiana; Sister: Hannah Gerard of Warsaw, Indiana; A host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews and 1 Granddaughter on the way. He is preceded in death by his Grandmother: Minerva Gibson of David, Kentucky who was very special to him; Grandfather: OC Shepherd of David, Kentucky and Uncle Tim Gibson of Indiana. He was greatly loved by all that knew him and will be missed.
Visitation will begin Thursday, October 16, 2025 at 6pm at the funeral home and Friday 11am to 9pm.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 18, 2025 at 1pm at Nelson Frazier Funeral Home, Prestonsburg, Kentucky with Carl Shepherd officiating.
Burial will follow at Gibson- Bailey Cemetery at Open Fork, David, Kentucky
