Herman Slone

Herman Slone, age 95, of Prestonsburg, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center , Hazard, Kentucky. He was born February 10, 1930 to the late Tommy Slone and Alice Prater Slone. He was the Husband of Dora Slone. He was a member of Spurlock Bible Church, Prestonsburg, Kentucky. Along with his Wife, he is survived by his Sons: Thomas R. (Leslie) Slone of New Castle, Kentucky, Kerry (Jill) Slone and Greg (Robin) Slone of Paintsville, Kentucky, Randall (Ruby) Slone of Lexington, Kentucky and Ronnie Slone of Prestonsburg, Kentucky; Daughters: Connie Ford of Prestonsburg, Kentucky and Alice Faye Slone of Florence, Kentucky; Brothers: Gary Slone and George Slone of Prestonsburg, Kentucky; Sisters: Winnie Mae Keathley, Ella Sammons and Ada Marie Lafferty of Prestonsburg, Kentucky and Garnett Oldfather of Warsaw, Indiana; Grandchildren: Ryan and Joshua Slone, Christopher Nickelson, Hillary, Gunner and Natalie Slone, Amber Leigh Noel Davis, Zachery, Mitchell, Adam, Sarah and Morgan Slone, Abigail Iles, Laura Nicole Harless and Julie Ann Ford; Great Grandchildren: Brooks Taylor Davis, Emmaleigh Addison Davis, Paxton Slone, Avery and Harper Nickelson; Honorary Sons: Barry (Deanna) Rice and James (Dani) Eves. Along with his Parents he is preceded in death by a host of Brothers and 1 Sister. He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.

Visitation will begin Saturday, October 4, 2025 at 10am at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 4, 2025 at 12pm at Nelson Frazier Funeral Home, Prestonsburg, Kentucky with Thomas Slone officiating.

Burial will follow at Gethsemane Gardens, Prestonsburg, Kentucky
