Gregory Scott Goodlett

A Bloomfield resident, Mr. Gregory Scott Goodlett, age 59, passed away Saturday, January 10, 2026. He was born October 15, 1966 in Louisville to the late Verdman Odell and Emma Gladys Peyton Goodlett. Scott was a farmer and was a member of Taylorsville Community Church. He was an avid UK and Colts fan and enjoyed riding motorcycles. He most enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 siblings, Vickie, Tony and Dale Goodlett, a granddaughter, Elle Lewis, and a nephew, Chaz Goodlett. He is survived by his 3 children, O'Bradley (Bethany) Holt of Bardstown, Addie (Robert) Lewis of Taylorsville, Alexis Goodlett of Jeffersonville, IN., 3 sisters, Annie Hodges of Louisville, Shirley (David) Neal of Bloomfield, Tammy Goodlett of Taylorsville, 5 grandchildren, Emma Lewis, Madelyn Holt, Isaac Holt, Maci Lewis, Liam Lewis, his partner, Lynelle Coomes of Taylorsville, as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mr. Gregory Scott Goodlett will be 11:00 am, Thursday, January 15, 2026 at Taylorsville Community Church. Bro. Chad Goodlett will officiate. Interment will be in Valley Cemetery. Visitation will be at Taylorsville Community Church Wednesday from 10:00 am until 8:00 pm and Thursday after 9:00 am until time of the funeral service. The Greenwell-Houghlin Funeral Home of Taylorsville is in charge of arrangements.
