Gregory "Greg" Van Gordon
Age 60, of Oscoda, MI passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2024 at McLaren Bay Special Care Hospital in Bay City, MI surrounded by his loving family and friends. He was born on December 12, 1963 in Detroit, MI to Jack Earl and Sandra Ann (Bryant) Gordon. Greg graduated from Oscoda Area High School in 1986. Greg had a unique love for life that was contagious! He was such a big hearted, fun, loving guy who would lend a helping hand to anyone who crossed his path. Over the years, Greg enjoyed fishing, going to the movies, playing on his iPad, taking trips to town for shopping and eating with his family, listening to the Bible and loved playing cards, especially rummy. He is survived by his loving mother, Sandra Gordon; siblings, Andy (Katie) Gordon, Mike Gordon and Wendy (Fred) Thompson; nieces and nephews, Lance (Megan) Thompson, Stephanie (Brian) Colorite, Parker (Ashley) Thompson, Bruce Gordon, Mason Gordon, Maddie Gordon, Minnie Gordon and 6 great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Gordon. Greg will be missed by everyone who knew and loved him. You may offer your condolences to the family online at www.bureshfuneralhomes.com.
