Gregory Horn, aged 63 of Joliet, IL passed away peacefully in his home on July 11, 2025. Born September 28, 1961, in Logan, WV. He is preceded in death by his father, Harrison Horn, mother, Joan Radakovits and brother Mark Horn (husband of Diane Horn).
He was a loving husband to Pamela (Aberly) Horn. Beloved father to Crystal Thomas, Erin Horn and Heather (Bryan) Fill. Cherished Grandfather to Gabriella Friscia, Gracelynn and Brookson Thomas, Hannah and Landon Fill.
Greg served in the Navy Reserve as a Seabee, where he was educated in heavy equipment operation and earned his CDL. He was formerly employed by R & L Carriers as a semi-truck driver, where he earned a 2-million-mile certification for safe driving.
His recreational interests consisted of hunting, carpentry, golf, classic cars and drag racing. He found immense joy in spoiling his grandchildren and was a true source of support to his children and offered guidance with home improvement and vehicle maintenance, keeping everything in working order.
A celebration of Greg's life will be held on Thursday, July 17, 2025 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Rd, Joliet,IL. Cremation rites have been accorded.
