Gregory Scott Ingmire, 64, passed away peacefully on December 25, 2025, in Oklahoma City, surrounded by family. Born to Wayne and Juanita Ingmire in Tonkawa, Oklahoma, Scott later made his home in Shawnee, Oklahoma, where he built a life centered around family, hard work, and unforgettable memories.

Scott was truly one of a kind. He was the life of the party, a master storyteller, and proudly known as the Karaoke King. He loved motorcycles, four-wheelers, boats, and just about anything with an engine. He loved hunting, fishing and being outdoors in general. Going fast and playing hard was in his DNA. Scott worked relentlessly and took immense pride in his career in the car business, where he spent many years building lasting relationships with coworkers and customers alike. He received numerous awards for his accomplishments as a top salesman and manager. Above all else, Scott loved his family and friends deeply. He was a hilarious, loving dad, a devoted Papa, and the very best uncle. He was incredibly proud of his family and maintained close relationships with many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews. Scott was a true pillar of his family and was happiest when everyone was together. Scott met the love of his life and wife of 34 years, Theresa, in 1991. Scott’s daughter Megan was two years old when Scott and Theresa were married in 1993, and Theresa loved her as her own. When Megan was ten years old, Scott and Theresa adopted their daughter Hannah—an answer to their prayers. Shortly after Hannah joined the family, they opened their home and hearts as foster parents, welcoming Aaron, Daniel, Raven, and AJ into their lives. Scott maintained a lifelong bond with Aaron, whom he considered a son. Aaron and his wife, Chelsea, along with their children—Melissa, Natalee, Liam, Violet, Aria and Hudson held a special place in Scott’s heart, and he proudly called them his grandchildren. After years of retirement and an empty nest, they recently opened their home once again and began raising their granddaughters, Trinity and Paisley. Being a Papa was one of Scott’s most cherished roles. The love and lessons he poured into his grandsons, Mac and Kyrie, will live on through them forever. Scott was endlessly proud of the family he built. Known as one of the hardest-working people you could ever meet, Scott was always caring for his home and property. He loved creating a place where people wanted to gather—complete with swimming pools, hot tubs, ATVs, and basketball courts. His home was meant to be filled with music, laughter, people, and animals, and it always was.

Scott is survived by his loving siblings Steve Ingmire, Cathy Ingmire, Kevin Ingmire, Shelly Dickover (David), and Sherry Heimbach (Donal). He was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved sister Carol Nichols and his foster daughter Raven Thompson.

Scott leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, hard work, and unforgettable stories. He will be deeply missed and forever loved by all who knew him.
