Gregory Jackson passed away on November 22, 2025, in Winchester, VA. He was born on September 7, 1956, in Winchester, VA

Gregory lived a life of love for his family, love of sports and hard work. He was a graduate of John Handley High School. His early jobs included delivering newspapers and working for People's Drug Store in downtown Winchester, Va. He had a long career building Cabinets for American WoodMark. He most recently worked at the Home Depot Distribution Center.

Gregory also had an avid love for sports and sports statistics in general, but specifically for the Washington Commanders football team as well as the University of Maryland men's basketball teams.

He is survived by his sister, Susan Jackson, his brother Manuel Jackson (Rosa) and his sister-in-law, Queen Jackson, as well as his nieces, nephews, and many cousins.

Gregory was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Mary Jackson and his brothers Jerome Jackson and Herman Jackson the 3rd.

Services will be held at Cartwright Funeral Home, 232 E Fairfax Lane, Winchester, VA., 12:00 pm on Thursday, December 4, 2025.

Viewing will be at 11:00 am with services following at noon.

Internment will be at the Love and Charity Cemetery in Millwood, VA., following the service.

Services will be officiated by Reverend Theresa Bell.

Donations in his honor, can be made to the American Diabetes Association and the American Heart Association.
