Obituary for Gregory Bryan Johnson
Gregory Bryan Johnson, born October 29, 1973, passed away peacefully in his home on October 20, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family.
Greg was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, and friend whose kindness, humor, and hard work touched everyone who knew him. He shared 32 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Tully Johnson, building a life full of laughter, love, and unwavering partnership. Together they raised two incredible children, Mary Lauren Johnson (27) and Ty Johnson (21) who were his greatest pride and joy. Recently, Greg's heart grew even fuller with the arrival of his "cute as a button" granddaughter, Emery Taylor Trask, who brought endless light into his life.
He is survived by his loving mother, Elaine Johnson, Brother, Trent Johnson (Laura) Sister, Traci Hollingsworth (Paul) and was preceded in death by his father, Larry Johnson, with whom he now shares eternal peace.
Greg was well-known and deeply respected for his exceptional skill and dedication as a bulldozer and dirt-digging operator-the best there ever was. He took pride in his work, shaping the land with the same strength, precision, and care that he brought to every part of his life.
Beyond his work, Greg will be remembered for his big heart, his quick wit, and his willingness to help anyone in need. Whether sharing a laugh with friends, lending a hand on a project, or cheering on his family, Greg lived every day with love and purpose.
His legacy will continue in the lives of those he touched and the family he loved so deeply.
A celebration of Greg's life will be held Saturday, October 25, 2025 at 2:00 pm. 250 PineTree Lane Ridgeland, MS 39157 to honor the man who truly made the world a better place-one scoop of dirt and one smile at a time.
