Thomas Corey McDonald, age 48, passed away peacefully on October 16, 2025, just shy of his 49th birthday. He was born on October 29, 1976, to Thomas Eugene and Susan Peters McDonald. Corey attended Jackson Academy, Madison public schools and graduated from The Education Center. He was a member of Boy Scouts of America and attained the rank of Eagle Scout. After graduation, Corey joined the United States Marine Corps where he served in Hawaii and Japan.
Corey worked for the family business and several other professions but found his calling in the automotive business. He loved his job and looked forward to going to work and interacting with the public. He has recently relocated to Ocean Springs and was working for Coastal Chevrolet.
Corey is survived by his parents, his brothers Robby Brown, Scott (Lief) McDonald and their daughters, Savannah and Saylor, Keith (Victoria) McDonald, his children Thomas Cole (Allison) and their daughters Macie Cole and Tomi, Emma McDonald, and Jason McDonald.
A memorial service to honor Corey will be held on Monday, October 20, 2025, at Sebrell Funeral Home in Ridgeland, beginning at 11:00 a.m. A visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m.
A private family graveside at Parkway Memorial Cemetery will be held
All family, friends, and those whose lives he impacted are invited to join in remembrance and celebration of his life.
