Gregory James Kilgore

 

Gregory James Kilgore, 62, passed away on September 23, 2023 surrounded by loved ones. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at Cozine Life Events Center. Gregory was preceded in death by his parents James Chester and Katherine Kilgore. He is survived by his loving wife Deborah Elizabeth; sons, Christopher (Teri), Grant, and Adam (Nguyet); daughters, Lindsay (Sam) Pickell, Laura (Brad) Steven, and Ashley (Braiden) Fiene; brother, Michael Kilgore (Inge); sister, Brenda (RC) Smith; and grandchildren, Ashlynn, Claire, Tristan, Haven, Corbin, Cash, Bradley, and Elaina. 

 

Greg enjoyed spending time with family and traveling with his wife, Debbie.  He was an avid painter and enjoyed creating oil paintings for the family.  His claim to fame was his ability to fix anything, literally.  Throughout his life he enjoyed taking things apart and rebuilding them just for fun. Greg served in the Federal Aviation Administration for 21 years in various capacities until he retired at the end of May 2023.
