Gregory Sanford Kittrell

Gregory “Greg” Sanford Kittrell, 58, a resident of Winston-Salem, NC, passed away Saturday, October 5, 2024, at his residence. 

Greg was born on June 7, 1966, to Bobby Sanford and Linda Myers Kittrell in Forsyth County, NC. 

He worked in construction for many years. Greg enjoyed hunting and being outdoors. Greg always had an adventurous spirit, looking for fun things to do and places to go. You never knew where he might end up. Some of his favorite pastimes were skiing in Utah, riding motorcycles, playing the guitar, and singing. He loved spending time with his family. His daughter, Ashland Connick, was the apple of his eye and the center of his heart. He was one proud father and they were truly two peas in a pod and also his beloved cat, Cowboy. 

Greg was preceded in death by his father.

Left to cherish Greg’s memory are his mother, Linda Kittrell of Kernersville; his daughter, Ashland Connick (Jarrett) of Tobaccoville; a sister, Robin Annette Cline (Steve) of Kernersville; a nephew, Justin Garris of Kernersville; his twin great-niece and nephew, Presley and Hudson; and many cousins, friends, and extended family members.

A memorial service to celebrate Greg’s life will be held by the family at a later date.
