Ralph "Allen" Brown, 78, of Clemmons, NC, passed away on Monday, February 16, 2026, at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital. Born on March 14, 1947, in North Wilkesboro, NC, the son of Claude Allen Brown and Sue Martin Brown. He was a graduate of North Forsyth High School (1965) and NC State University (1969), and he worked as a civil engineer for over 50 years. On January 21, 1967, he married Linda Lawrence Brown and they shared 59 years of marriage. He is survived by his bride, Linda; daughters, Christina Hudson (Greg) and Constance McGrail (John); grandchildren, Grant, Avery (Meredith), Audrey (Mark), Ashleigh, Aaron, Sydney, and Alec; great-granddaughters, McKenzie and Adeline; and his sister, Martha Ingle. Allen will be remembered for his leadership and fun-loving spirit, as well as his love for Jesus, his family, and sports.
A celebration of life service will be held on Sunday, February 22, 2026, at 2:30 PM at Calvary Baptist Church with Pastor Will Toburen officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Calvary Baptist Church (calvarynow.com) or Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (sebts.edu). Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel is assisting the family of Mr. Allen Brown.
