June 7, 1968 - December 21, 2024
Gregory Lee Kopera, age 56, of Council Bluffs, passed away December 21, 2024, at his home. Greg was born June 7, 1968, in Omaha to Bill Lee Kopera, Jr. and Laura Shively. He graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School in 1986. Greg owned and operated Kopera Construction for 41 years. He was preceded in death by his father, Bill Kopera, Jr.; grandparents, Bill and Christie Kopera; and grandmother, Viola Shively. Greg is survived by his son, Devin Kopera (fiance, Elizabeth Ogawa); brother, Ryan (Amanda) Kopera; aunt, Sue (Robert) Crumb; cousins, Richie Kopera and Tina Patrick; nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Memorial visitation, Thursday, 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Bayliss Park Chapel. A celebration of Greg's life will follow at Big Al's, 2700 2nd Ave. The family will direct memorial contributions.
