Gregory Martin Obituary

Publish in a newspaper

Gregory Frank Martin, born March 2, 1968, went to be with his Lord on Thursday, September 4, 2025, after a long illness. He is survived by his mother and step-father, Charles and Brenda Florek; his brother, Shane Martin; three step-brothers, Chris, Jeff, and Toby; uncles and aunts, Randy (Loretta) Roberts, Ralph Roberts, Mickey (Linda) Roberts, Kathy Martin (Sushan) Anand, Patsy Martin (George) Barber; and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Mickey Frank Martin; his grandparents Isaac and Maggie Roberts and DC and Hazel Martin. Greg was held in the hearts of everyone who knew him, always kind and caring to people. After high school, he moved to Atlanta for the big city, attending Devry Institute of Technology. After college, he worked at Southern States Energy Board for many years before moving to Chattanooga. He loved telling about Jesus. He created his own websites to broadcast the teaching of Jesus all over the world. He would walk the streets giving out gifts to the homeless at Christmas time. After moving to Chattanooga his kindness was continued to the homeless, even when had little to share. As his mother, I will always be thankful for Greg's love for me and his brother, his family, and the love and kindness he showed everyone. In lieu of flowers, please make donations on Greg's behalf to the homeless or Center Point Baptist Church.
