Gregory Masure Obituary

Published by Legacy on Nov. 10, 2025.
On October 23rd, 2025, Gregory "Greg" Masure, loving husband, father, and grandfather, passed away at home in Montpelier, Vermont, surrounded by family. Greg was born on April 26th, 1965, in Montpelier, Vermont, to Conover and Marguerite. He most recently worked as a sous chef at Heaton Woods. On September 2nd, 2000, he married the love of his life, Suzanne "Sue" Armstrong.
Greg had four children, Gary Masure, Zachary Masure, Zoie Masure, and Michael Masure, as well as a grandson, Brayden Masure. Greg was an avid fisherman and hunter. He always enjoyed hanging out by the river, casting a line with his family by his side. During hunting season, you could find him out in the woods, always looking for the next buck or turkey. In summer, he enjoyed cooking on the grill for family and friends gathering at Shady Rill or Hubbard State Park. Greg also enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys play football. Superbowl Sunday, you could always count on plenty of food and endless laughter in his living room.
He leaves behind his wife, children, grandson, as well as his brother Larry. He also leaves behind many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Greg was predeceased by his mother and father. Plans for services will be later at the family's convenience. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Gregory, please visit our floral store.
